Call-Out: Producer (Part-Time)
Decription
leo&hyde are a Manchester-based musical theatre company. We're a small and friendly team, who get excited about new music, theatre and technology.
We're looking for a proactive, passionate, ambitious producer to join our team, working closely with us to produce several upcoming performances and R&Ds, and set up longer term partnerships and productions.
The role will begin by general managing an upcoming musical at the Vaults Festival, before continuing to a range of projects combining live theatre, music and digital media.
This role suits someone highly-organised, with experience in producing theatre, and confidence to complement the skills of our team, and help strengthen some of our weaknesses. While none of these are essential, experience in the following will be useful:
Involvement in productions at theatre festivals like Edinburgh Fringe / The Vaults;
General managing theatre productions / tours;
Making funding applications, such as to the Arts Council;
Managing theatre budgets and coordinating varied teams;
Tour booking;
Writing contracts and agreements;
Multi-tasking between different projects and freelance roles.
Some of the qualities we value most are resourcefulness, with a "jump-in" attitude; a self-confidence too see what needs to be done and do it; efficiency; and friendliness.
We warmly welcome applications from people of all backgrounds.
